Music
Tom has been a performer for more than 20 years.
An established guitarist and vocalist with a love of folk and soul, he fronts The Retuners, The Kazans and KOasis.

His debut solo single Silence Breaking Through Sound raised £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2015.

The 2016 follow-up Strings Attached was record of the week on BBC Introducing, and subsequent single Here We Go Again reached no.3 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart, bested only by Hozier and Sam Fender.

In June 2019, Tom opened for James Morrison in front of a sellout crowd at Down Hall Country House & Hotel.

He has also had the pleasure of performing in front of Sir Rod Stewart, who said to him: “Well done tonight. If you love it, and you want it, stick at it.”

Tom’s duo LOZT, formed with American vocalist Lauren Scudder, has racked up more than half a million Spotify streams.

More recently, he has been joined by saxophonist and whistle player Greg Camburn, and acclaimed double bassist John Parker, to form The Retuners, playing “music for mental wellbeing.”
He runs well-established wedding singing business Tom Ryder Weddings.
Production
Tom is a self-taught producer, specialising in recording stripped-back acoustic performances and live sessions. He believes in using real instruments and is led by the song and putting its story across, rather than adding unnecessary layers. He looks to preserve songwriting in its purest form.
